School is back! Backgammon, however, never went anywhere.

On Tuesday, 14 September 2004, the Backgammon Club of San Diego met.


Tournament News

10 people entered a 16-player tournament on Tuesday night. We had the following tournament results:

Main Tournament (16 player bracket)
  • 1st place:  Adrian Costa
    
  • 2nd place:  Stan Krimerman
    
  • 3rd place:  Bruce Haight / Jason Lee (split)
    
  • Stan Krimerman placed for the first time this year, in his second visit to the club. Bruce Haight had his 13-match winning streak ended in the semifinals by Stan. Bruce's streak is the second longest of the year, as Sho Sengoku had a 15-match streak earlier this year.

    The point leader at the end of the year will be named the BCSD Player of the Year, and the top 16 in the Master Point standings will be invited to the 2004 BCSD Tournament of Champions, to be held in early 2005.
